Chris Jones, son of Jack and Becky Jones of Shelbyville, is currently completing basic training for the Army National Guard at Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC. Chris will be a senior at Shelbyville High School this fall and will be stationed in South Carolina until the end of August.

COLUMBIA An 18-year-old Columbia man has been charged with reckless homicide in the death of a man who was hit by a car while waiting at a bus stop.
